Job Description

Under the supervision of the Related Services Coordinator, the School Psychologist performs a range of evaluation and support functions, collaborating with teachers, administrators, parents, and students. The role also includes crisis support and contributing to Individualized Education Program (IEP) development.

Key Responsibilities:

• Demonstrate adherence to the Utah Professional Practices Advisory Commission Code of Ethics
• Collaborate with professional staff in academic and personal growth areas
• Administer, score, and interpret standardized assessments aligned with state and federal special education guidelines
• Conduct individual and group assessments to evaluate academic aptitude, learning skills, social development, and emotional functioning
• Observe, record, and analyze student behavior across different settings
• Participate in IEP development using comprehensive evaluation data
• Monitor student progress, maintain accurate records, and prepare progress reports for families and staff
• Maintain compliance with local, state, and federal data requirements
• Assist families and schools during crisis situations

Minimum Requirements:

• Licensed School Psychologist or Psychologist Intern
• Ability to conduct assessments, interpret results, and collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams
• Strong interpersonal, communication, and ethical standards
