About the Opportunity:
We are seeking an enthusiastic and motivated Engineering Graduate for a 12-month onsite internship in Port Elizabeth. This role provides hands-on exposure to engineering projects, site operations, and technical problem-solving. Interns will work closely with experienced engineers, applying academic knowledge to support operational and project-based tasks.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in developing, testing, and implementing engineering solutions
- Support senior engineers with research, development, and project tasks
- Conduct technical analysis and prepare detailed reports
- Aid in troubleshooting, maintenance, and optimization of equipment or systems
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on engineering projects
- Participate in meetings and contribute to brainstorming and problem-solving
- Perform site visits, inspections, and testing as required
- Collect and analyse data accurately for reporting and decision-making
- Maintain organized records of project progress and results
Requirements:
- Matric certificate
- Recently completed degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field
- Computer literate with understanding of engineering software/tools
- Strong interest in applying engineering principles to practical challenges
- Ability to work effectively in a team and communicate clearly
- Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and organizational skills
- Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn and take initiative
