About the Internship
The ICT Internship Programme by TETA is designed to equip graduates with real-world technical and administrative experience in Information Technology within South Africa’s transport sector. Interns will support TETA’s internal ICT department and contribute to digital transformation, systems management, and technical support initiatives.
This opportunity helps young graduates build their professional skills while actively contributing to the efficiency and innovation of transport education and training.
Responsibilities
- Provide first-line IT support to staff and stakeholders
- Assist with hardware and software installations, configurations, and upgrades
- Monitor and maintain IT systems, networks, and databases
- Support cybersecurity awareness and compliance activities
- Participate in ICT projects, including digital training platforms
- Assist in troubleshooting technical issues and escalating where necessary
Qualifications & Requirements
- South African citizen aged 18–35
- Unemployed graduate with a Diploma or Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field
- Strong computer literacy (MS Office, database management, networking)
- Knowledge of ICT infrastructure and problem-solving skills
- Certified copies of:
- ID (not older than 3 months)
- Matric Certificate
- Qualification and full academic transcript
- Curriculum Vitae
- WIL letter (if applicable)
